Erika Lust is an acclaimed filmmaker who creates artistic, indie adult cinema that portrays sexually intelligent narratives, relatable characters, and realistic hot sex.
In 2004 Erika made her first film The Good Girl, an alternative take on the ‘pizza delivery guy’ cliché. Within two weeks it had received over two million downloads, prompting Erika to realise that making an alternative, better porn to the mainstream offering was her calling.
Since then Erika has directed hundreds of short films, feature films, series, and has travelled the world spreading the Lust message. In 2014, Erika gave her essential TED talk It’s Time for Porn to Change, which gained her notoriety for her campaign to improve porn. She defends the importance of having women behind the camera in all key positions to capture the female gaze and show that women’s pleasure matters.
